Width is less important, but ideally it should not be wider than the available space. The website will scale down anything that is too wide, but it takes processing power on the server that might slow it down if too many computers are downloading pages with downscaled images.
It won't do much difference if only one member have a wide image that has to be downscaled, but it would likely make a difference if many enough members did.
But that is far smaller than I ask for. That is only 157 high, and I say that it is acceptable up to 250. All the numbers I have mentioned is for height.
I'm going to have to change it at another time. I do have it resized, but my computer for some reason is making it really blurry. I'll try to change it tomorrow.
I didn't check what file format you used, but if it is JPG or another format that is not lossless, it will lose quality every time you save a change to the file. The PNG format is compressing the file in a lossless way.
It is extremely much text for a sig, but the sig is not too big since you don't have any images. But I would advice using a font size smaller, because it should not compete with your posts for attention. This is not a rule, just a good advice. Alternatively, you could use gray font.
When I commented on the font size, I based it on how your sig looks here on your profile. But when I look in forum threads, the font is smaller. My bad.
