The more enemies you kill, the more points you will get. Look at the table above. It shows how many points you will get for killing each different enemy. Boss enemies will net you more points then regular enemies. Combo: -Combos are achieved by killing enemies within a time spn of 10 seconds in between kills. The higher your combo, the more pomits you will get when the combo ends. Time Bonus: -Throughout each stage are several Time Bonus statues. Break these open to get an extra 30, 60 or 90 seconds added to your overall time. If you want to get a high score, then it is likely that you'll need all the Time Bonus' to gain enough points. Rankings: -Rankings are determined by how many points you have gotten. If you play Mercs co-op then then amount of points needed to achieve each rank is doubled. Extra Info: - There are 8 different stages. They are unlocked by beating the stage before it with a B ranking or higher. - 150 enemies will spawn on each level. if you manage to kill them all then the game will end you will get a set amount of points added depenidng on how many seconds were left. - Each level has a chicken on it except the Mines level which has 2. Each chicken is worth 2,000 points. The chickens also count towards the 150 enemies in each stage. - A Versus Mode DLC was added to Xbox Live and PSN. ___________________________________________________________ Okay so that's it as far as i can remember. Nice one Wesker!! it should be stickyd as well!! saves people joining the fozzy an asking how to do things haha If I was any good at mercs mode this information would help me loads and I'd be able to unlock everything =P But I sucks at mercs to harshly, need more practice haha.

Try watching videos of some high scorers. A lot of them post their gameplay in youtube, and maybe you can utilize their tactics to be good at Mercs.
Here is something that was left out. Killing a enemy with a melee attack will give you 5 extra seconds. The game also gives you ammo for guns in your inventory so if you discard any weapons in you inventory then you will only get ammo for the guns that you didn't discard.
I'm not perfect in mercenaries, but I survive :lol: I think that the best way to kill majinis with a shot in the head (with the pistol) and finish with the melee attack. I think the other weapons are for, like an emergency.
I'll give you a strategy. In Duo: One must be Wesker! Then I would suggest Jill Valentine (BSAA) Jill's handgun will get you a 95 % headshot kill. and she's got Flash and FAS. Weskers Handkanon against Bosses. I personaly use to get all Timelins then Kill. REMEMBER! SURVIVAL IS ALWAYS FIRST PRIORITY.

Does anyone know if there are hidden weapons in the different stages. If you play the shipdeck once you jump across the three containers that face the long mast you can climb. after you hit the time bonus jump down and against the wall in the coner is a first aid spray but also a grenade launcher and a pack of flam rounds. I have the PS3 and its there no matter what person I play with so now I am wondering if there is something like this on any of the other levels. I played that level at least 20 times before I even noticed the aid spray and then about five more time before I noticed the launcher.
YOU CAN ALSO CHANGE THE DIRECTION OF WESKER'S DASH. ALMOST NOONE KNOWS THIS SO I FELT THE NEED TO CAP LOCK THIS STATEMENT. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8dZngR95jGQ He primarily sticks to the vertical shifts, but you can juke and turn horizontally as well. He has a nice dsiplay of this near the end of the vid where he dashes a circle around the Prison level. It's a good display of the dash properties though. I recognize them having experienced some myself. (Like not being able to do it with too much clutter around you....) You can also run through fire and are immune to all forms of attack while dashing and you can actually kill Majini with the vertical shifts he does 95% of the vid.

A single kill in Mercenaries is 300 points. A single kill in Mercenaries with a melee attack is 300 points +05sec to the clock. Each kill from a combo tacks on 10 points for how ever high you have the combo. And Combo Times tack on an extra 1000 points multiplied by the combo number once the Combo Time is up.
