Sign up to disable those pesky ads. Why does everyone think that its 2013 ? The only official information would be in the trailer, in interviews with the producer, or on the official website. The trailer says 10 years after the Raccoon City Incident. I've been able to find only one interview and it says nothing about what year the game will take place in. On the official Resident Evil website under the RE6 portal it says that the game will take place 10 years after the Raccoon City Incident, it says nothing about 2013. What the president wants to tell the world about is what really happened to Raccoon City, and that they had actually nuked the city and it wasn't an accident. This game will take place in 2009 after RE5, you may say "Hey, thats 11 years!" Not quite, Raccoon City was nuked September, 1998 making it close to the end of the year. This means that this is probably happening a little over 10 years, but not quite 11 years.
Yes, but that isn't an official source. Its a secondary source. Microsoft isn't making RE6, Capcom is. Also what it says contradicts itself.
I think the game will have some kind of intro in 2008/2009 amd then the rest of the game taking place in 2013. Thus, Microsoft says 2013 but in the trailer they say 2008/2009. However, Capcom hasn't revealed anything else other than the trailer and some other minor details.
Microsoft has no reason to state 2013 unless they have some information that no one else has. The only reliable information is on the resident evil website and in the trailer. You could be right about the introduction thing but I doubt it.
I am thinking that Microsoft had access to more info about the game than we do, but maybe not xD Les't wait and see...
I don't see why Microsoft would have an inside scoop when no one else does, but then again we'll have to wait and see like you said. This is just my theory according to 2 official sources.
resident evil 7 spoiler news from capcom saying that all the over resident evils was just in chris's dreams and none of them have happened yet and your just doing resident evil 1 again also chris dies in resident evil 6 thats why they have made it go back to the beginning the reason why i know chris dies because inside leak if you want to know anything else just ask me

I was dreading it being another prequel when there are already two prequels that have been released/will be released in the next few months. I highly doubt RE6 will be released in Nov. though, as it's only 50% finished. I'm pretty sure they will delay it soon... Just like they've done with just about every other RE game, but that's fine as long as they're doing it for the better and not trying to ruin it.
